Originally established in March of 2008 in Paris, the company moved to the U.S. later that year, initially to Chicago, IL., and then to Colorado Springs, CO. During that time, ZYONFILM produced the XSF Cinema Trailer - honored by the Telly Awards Jury in just its first year of operations in the US. This huge honor catapulted us forward. Yes, we moved again. This time the destination was right next to the “Movie Capital of the world,” Los Angeles, CA. ZYONFILM is set to become a major player in Hollywood. Newly located in beautiful Valencia, CA. gives us the extraordinary opportunities to serve local famous filmmakers-family.
Not only that, but ZYONFILM’s production background includes 6 years of Graffa history. Graffa was a European company created to work specifically in the car advertising and documentary fields. It was known as the co-producer for Suzuki Europe - Suzuki Ignis, Rally Cup Media relations ( DSF and Motorvison ).
After years in Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, and Poland, Graffa finally moved to France and after 2 years was re-named “ZYONFILM.”
Everything now is just a natural consequence of the unusual creativity stemming from the duet made up of Adam Mayewski - Cinematographer / Editor (and big motor sport lover), and Joanna Bodnar - Still Photographer, Head / Body shot expert, and talented macro-photographer for advertising as well. Her hobby is studying and capturing nature, and every moment that she’s not in studio is spent with her cameras in the bush.
